1 Bandits Beware, trained by Allinthegate
This daughter of Jesses James has had two starts for a win. That win came at the free track and was after a decent debut also at the free track so it is easy to overlook that form as not good enough for this race. Her works however have been pretty good so whilst I do not think she can win today she certainly deserves a chance at this level.
2 Plucky Elmo, trained by Hawaiian Shirt Guy
A lovely debut at WO was followed by a strong win on the same track and with some very encouraging works she certainly looks up to this task. Nicely bred she looks the sort to appreciate this extra furlong and will be tough to beat.
3 Ghostly Celt, trained by Mo Mentum Farm
Claimed after a decent debut run she looks a nice addition to this trainers barn and with a lightening work a month back looks to have a lot better than a maidens chance in this race.
4 Done And Dusted, trained by Mb Stables
Unbeaten in two races albeit at a much lower level she is another that looks like she will be loving the sixth furlong today. A daughter of Chai latte with some strong works she hails from a stale that has to be respected in these types of races
5 Neometropolitan, trained by Barcelona Farms
A good debut third was followed by a nice win in an ALB maiden and with some strong works she certainly demands respect in an even looking field. The outside gate may be against her but the small field size should give her enough chances to get in without having to burn off too much energy.
A close looking race I think that Plucky Elmo may have the edge over Done And Dusted and Neometropolitan.
