Spring Lover won The Carter Handicap- Grade I over todays distance and looks to have a good chance in winning The San Carlos Stakes with his stable mate Moon Landing his main rival.

The last time he ran over todays distance was in The Queenston Stakes where he finished second beaten by a nose in 1.21.4. Just been purchased by his present owner for $750.000.

Won four from fourteen starts, winning a maiden at AQU also The SA Derby – Grade I for a previous owner. He was purchased for $400.000 by his present owner winning two from four starts, both allowances at AQU on indirt over a mile, today’s race is the first time he will be running over the distance of seven furlongs.

Looks to be the one to beat here.
