Eastern Sky is The Very One

The Very One – Grade III
1 3/16 Mile Turf Stake Purse $150.000 Filly & Mare 4 Year Olds And Up.

1st Eastern Sky, trained by Maxmillion Farm
Well this filly certainly came back to her best with a bang in this race stalking the lead and then sauntering away for an easy three length win. Any questions asked about her training on after her seasonal debut were answered here and she will be a tough one to beat come November.

2nd Wednesday, trained by Fractious
Taken back to get the trip she closed nicely and whilst she had no chance with the winner got passed a few good ones to take second. With three seconds in a row at graded level she must break through for a good win soon.

3rd Bonkers, trained by Team 7 Illusions
Whacked away for third but was well held, this effort was a little disappointing after her debut run but she will continue to be competitive at this level.

4th Pip Kadabra, trained by Chili King Stables
Didnt do much from a good position and it seems that the rain will have to come for her to produce the sort of form that saw her win the Flower Bowl last year.
