Chrystal Pip Justifies Stable Confidence with Solid Win

 SA Handicap – Grade I
1 1/4 Mile Dirt Stake Purse $600.000 Open 4 Year Olds And Up.

1st Chrystal Pip, trained by Mb Stables
There was plenty of stable confidence about this one and it was spot on as the former turfer stormed home for a one length win. Two from two this season he looks to have found some zip in the switch back to dirt and this sort of performance will put him in the line up for the Classic come November.

2nd Laffin Parrot, trained by Mo Mentum Farm
I was thrilled to see this one flying through at the end to grab second after spending much of the time at the back of the pack and out of contention. This was a huge effort from the wide draw and it looks like the Queens Plate winner is set for a big year.

3rd How To Laff, trained by Serenity Stables
Put into a good position he looked like he was going to move out and go past them but he just kept on at the one pace in the end. A very good third in a  tough field he is another who will be contesting all the big races this year.

4th Hidden Slew Laff, trained by Gdp Inc
Stalked the lead from the widish gate but didnt have anything left when the challenges were made. Another solid run he should gain some compensation if he drops a grade.
