1st Pass Me By, trained by Mb Stables

A very impressive winner here he did what is basically impossible and that is win a race from the lead. He opened up four lengths at one point which usually doesn’t equal a win but he was much the best in here to win like that. He ran the mile and a sixteenth in 1:41.43 and earned $60.000 for the win.

2nd Eclipse My Knowledge, trained by Nakamura Stables

A very good race from him as he came from way back to run second. He sat seven lengths back most of the way and came rolling down the lane and only ended up missing by a length. A little more distance and he might of ended up winning. A very good run to end up finishing second from so far back.

3rd Local Hero, trained by D J C Racing Stables

The runner from the wizard didn’t run like I thought he would but he didn’t necessarily run a terrible race because he still ran third and only got beat two lengths. He sat about five or six lengths of the pace most of the way and closed a little bit down the lane but couldn’t cut into the margin enough to win.

4th Reach For A Latte, trained by Saratoga Stud

Another one who was far back at one point sitting seven lengths of the leaders and couldn’t make up that ground to win. He was way too far back to win this race when it was all said and done but he only ended up getting beat two lengths also. Not a bad run but needed to be closer to win.

Summary

Basically what it boiled down to is this winner opened up on the field and it was just too much of a lead to catch him. The second, third and fourth place finishers closed quickly but were just too far back to catch him. Congratulations to Mb Stables and all the others that did not go home empty handed.
