Call Me Spanish Too Strong in The Hill Prince

The Hill Prince – Grade II (P2)
1 1/8 Mile Inner Turf Stake Purse $500.00 Open 3 Year Olds.

1st   Call Me Spanish      Maxmillion Farm  Castellano J J

Sat off the brisk early pace and quickened past them nicely to score by just under a length. This really does look his ideal trip after weakening over further in his last two and he must go down as one of the best buys of the season.

2nd   Decision In Five      Nakamura Stables  Baze T C

Ran right up the speed and kept on really well considering it was a fairly fast pace. This effort lived right up to his recent works and he looks like a gelding on the improve.

3rd   Calm Havoc      Mb Stables               Bridgmohan S X

Right in it for much of the race he just couldnt quicken up with the first two but kept on gamely for third.
4th   Insert The Flirt      Mb Stables               Campbell J M

He also raced right near the speed and kept giving all the way to the line in a race where very little came from behind despite the fast pace. He is still to prove himself in this company but seems to be improving.
