Arindel Charges Run One-Two in Wonder Where Stakes at WO

  2    WO    Wonder Where Stakes

$250.000       3yo F    Foaled In  CA     1 1/4m  Turf        123lbs

It was a small field and the finish was rather chalky as Arindel owned the Wonder Where Stakes at WO on Saturday.  Inquisition, sent off as the 1.35/1 second favorite went to the front, set all of the pace and got home by two lengths in a final running time of 1:59.20 for the mile and a quarter turf event.  Stable-mate and .70/1 favorite Hint Of Rubicon was a clear second with long-shot Tea For Two third and Niner Nation rounding out the field.

Inquisition is a 3yo gray filly by Great Broomstick – Spanish Quarter, by Pan For Gold, and she was bred by Mo Mentum Farm, here in ON.  Haltered via hostile takeover for $23.500 back in Sept of last season, she now has three wins from sixteen starts and lifetime earnings of $324.100.  Congrats to the connections!

$2 Mutuel Prices:

  Inquisition 4.70 2.10
  Hint Of Rubicon   2.10

Track: Firm              Time: :474  1:112  1:35   1:591
$1 Exacta: 4 – 1 Paid 4.50
Scratched: None

Inquisition broke alertly, set the pace at all calls, won unchallenged as much the best.  Hint Of Rubicon sat off of the pace, chased the winner while no threat, clearly second best.  Tea For Two, rated, asked, evenly.  Niner Nation flashed early speed, tired.
