  • Ma Petite Penne Looks to Keep Rolling in Sand Springs

Before I begin looking at this race, I just have to say that Michael LaRosa is in my thoughts and prayers. I didn’t know him, but I do know he was a great person and a pillar of the HRP community. I know that he want this to go on, and I am privileged to be a part of the SRF team that will ensure that his idea from 2005 will live on for as long as our virtual game will.

  • Sinamaulu Punches His KYD Ticket with Ruby Stakes Win

Coming into the Ruby Stakes, Arindel already boasted one of the horses that many feel is a top KYD contender, but with his barn being as powerful as it is, just one entry into the race will not be enough. Now, he will have at least two entries into the race as Sinamaulu captured the Ruby Stakes, earning the 100 points and showing that he is yet another great horse produced by Hanamaulu.

  • Terra Command Storms Home in Desert Stormer

There was much to like about the horses that made up the field in the Grade 3 Desert Stormer at SA. They were plenty accomplished over their careers, making you feel that if they were to all run against one another, that it should be for at least double the $100.000 purse that the race offered.

  • Great Field Lined Up for Desert Stormer

Don’t tell this field of nine that they are only racing for $100.000, because they probably think they are running for at least twice that. The Desert Stormer came up strong, so this is certainly going to be an entertaining race on Saturday out at SA. It sends older females six furlongs on the main track, and runs for the twelfth time.

  • Ruby Stakes One Of Two 100 KYD Point Races Starting Saturday

You know the KYD is getting closer when we get into the 100 point races. The Grade 3 Ruby Stakes is one of two races on Saturday that will offer that many points, so the over KYD qualifying picture may begin to see a shake up. If we look at that right now, we see Mb Stables really flexing his muscles, having six of the first eight in the overall standings.

  • Blamethespeedparty Runs Up Front Early and Wins Whitmore Stakes

Saturday would be the birth of a new Grade 3 within our game, as the Whitmore Stakes took place at OP, sending its field of its field of ten older horses six furlongs around the main track. Several horses looked to be contenders, but in the end there could only be one left to party as the race’s winner.

  • Z Baby Blue Catches Elijah G Just in Time to Win Silks Run

Last month, Z Baby Blue took part in a similar race to the Silks Run, the $100.000 Turf Dash over at TAM, which would be his third win in four starts. In a mostly full field, he seemed to be a good contender, but others may have had a little more name recognition.

  • Inaugural Whitmore Stakes Runs At OP Saturday

A field of ten have assembled for Saturday’s running of the inaugural Whitmore Stakes. It has been given a Grade 3 designation for this debut, as well as a $200.000 purse and will run for six furlongs on the dirt.

  • Silks Run Draws Eleven

It’s a slower weekend this week, but that does not mean that we don’t have anything to talk about! Here, we’re going to take a quick look at the Silks Run, an ungraded turf sprint for older horses at GP.

  • Outside Trip Doesn’t Spoil Matamata’s Day in The Azeri

Smokey Stover was not messing around when it came to entering horses for The Azeri. All three of his horses seemed to have a great chance to win the race, including the legendary Z Command and the ultimate post time favorite, Third Gear. His third entry, Matamata, had just as much potential and came into the race on a stretch of three victories in four starts.
