Gogh Wild Adds Travers to Impressive Accolades

Wizardly Prevails in Close Photo to Win The Jerkens Memorial

Prior to the running of the Jerkens Memorial, Wizardly was repeatedly putting together bullets in his morning works, showing that he was indeed ready to run a big one here at SAR in hopes of his fourth consecutive victory. He had not won a graded race yet, but showed his ability in ungraded races and looking like one of the better contenders in the race.

Gigafemme Is BC Bound Following Ballerina Win

Gigafemme entered the Grade 1 Ballerina looking promising, winning the Grade 2 Chicago Stakes at CD in her prior start, and showing that she could win big races. Now, she can add the Ballerina to her resume, clinching her spot in the BC F & M Sprint and simply earning a big win for trainer Big Guns Stables.

For years, the Travers has been one of the biggest races of the year, attracting the best three year olds in virtual racing to SAR for a large purse. That will continue this year, but you have to wonder if this will be the last year that the Travers runs as we know it now.
