Interesting Blend of Horses in Simpson Stakes
The next big race at KD for Saturday to look at will be the sixth running of the Simpson Stakes, which runs as a Grade 1 for the first time this year. In 2019, the race debuted as a Grade 3 for $500.000, and was promoted to a Grade 2 two years later. The purse also has doubled from last year’s $1,000.000 amount, making this race increasingly prestigious.

Impressive Closing Effort Earns Hiei Pacific Classic Victory
Last year, Hiei finished third in the BC Classic after a late run in the stretch saw him get within a half length. Now, he is assured of his chance to return to that race once again, just as long as his trainer, Fractious, wants him there.
