Eights Over Nines In Waya

Proud Eights has had a strong career, and this year was impressive for her with two Grade 1 wins over the spring and then a third such victory in August. Estero Farms enjoyed what he had, but about two weeks ago, it was time to sell her and Mb Stables stepped up, knowing she’d be a great addition to his already stacked stable.

Number Nine Looks to Copy Her Waya Win

We’ll have an eight and a nine in the gate, but only five actually going to the post for the 15th running of the Grade 3 Waya. The race sends older females a total of eleven furlongs (one less than any prior year) along the inner turf and sees its purse double from last year.

Star Studded Field for Lukas Classic

The last two winners of the Lukas Classic will be going to head to head this year, perhaps an even more impressive feat when you consider that this race was not even run in 2020. The 2018 winner, Having A Blast, and the 2019 winner, Eclipse My Knowledge are just two of the six horses in the nine horse field which have won over $1,000.000 for their careers.

Bay Of Indy Lights Up the Board in RP Oaks

Bay Of Indy was picked up in private sales in August and entered into a race almost immediately. She ran decently in that race, but now with a little more time together with new trainer Broken Spoke Stables, she was ready to take the next step. Not many believed in her, as she went off at odds of 61/1, the second longest shot on the board.
