The Hanshin was formerly a part of the schedule at AP, running there in most years between 2005 and 2019 as a Grade 3 with a purse of either $100.000 or $150.000. After being dormant for a couple years, the race was added to the schedule here at CD, and for a much larger purse.

It may not be a large field for Saturday’s running of the Texas Turf at LS, as only five horses are entered, but these horses that did make the trip to LS are well accomplished and should give us a great race.
