Drinkin Creepin Back in Action in The Troy

Plenty is on the line Saturday for turf sprinters as 19th running of the Troy takes place at SAR. This race first appeared on the schedule in 2006 as a simple $65.000 ungraded race and has grown in stature since. It is now a Grade 3, getting that designation in 2018, and the $300.000 purse level was first reached in 2022.

Eight To the Gate in Hirsch Stakes

There are three races that are considered a “win and you’re in” stake for the BC Distaff, and we’ll have one of them on Saturday at DMR. It’s the 21st running of the Hirsch Stakes, sending fillies and mares a little more than a mile on the main track.

King Z Reigns Over Read Stakes

Typically, King Z has had a running style of being at or near the lead early at the start of the race, but on Sunday in the Read Stakes, that was not the plan. The post time favorite would begin the race near the back of the field this time, but would get the job done in the stretch to win the race by a length.
