A small field of four will be taking part in the $100.000 Santa Barbara Stakes at SA, a race that runs for the 19th time, but lost it’s graded designation in 2023. It has also seen a gradual purse drop from the $200.000 that it debuted with back in 2005 when it was a Grade 2.

Dayton Prevails in Stretch to Win CD
The rain that fell at CD on Saturday led to several horses being scratched, including the horse that we picked to win: Categorical Maybe. In fact, two of our top four picks were among the horses that would not be sent to the starting gate as planned. Having no issue with the elements was Dayton, who is trained by Pan Farms.
