  The stage seemed to be set in the Greenwood Cup for Spankersville to get his first win since April, but someone forget to tell Bears Stable and El Gran Cambio. The gelding seems to be at his best the longer that the races get, and at a mile and a half, he was up to the challenge to take on the reigning BC Champion.

• Aghast Earns BC Spot with Princess Rooney Win

  Another Mb Stables BC entry was confirmed on Saturday, as long as he sends them there, as Aghast won the Princess Rooney by a length. This will make her a part of the BC Fillies and Mares Sprint if the trainer sends her, something that is never guaranteed with the three entries per owner restriction.
