Differing Paths Collide in The BEL Oaks
After a few weeks that were not exactly loaded with big races, we have ourselves a busy weekend at the Big A, with many key races. One of them is the BEL Oaks, which is a Grade 1 for three year old fillies on the turf. While the $500.000 purse is a big one, this race has seen larger, and went for $1,000.000 between 2014 and 2019.

Grand Opening Routs the Field in Wise Dan
Even though there was a strong field for the Wise Dan, there was one horse that seemed more attractive than the others. That was Grand Opening, who went off as a strong betting favorite of odds of less than 2/1, as well as being our pick to win.
