  The starting gate was full for the CA Cup Derby and the winner’s circle was also a popular place to be as both Gold Vault and Gunga Jung get credit for the victory, in a dead heat. They used different tactics to get that point, with Gunga Jung being on the lead and Gold Vault coming from the middle of the field, and there would be no separating them at the end.

• After Eleven Years, Likely Exchange Stakes Returns

  The last time that the Likely Exchange Stakes was a part of the schedule, it was in 2013, and ran for a $50.000 purse. After that, it seemed to die off, possibly due to the lower purse level not being appealing for the game to put on the schedule. It returns in 2024, for an amount of $125.000 that we have never seen before!
