The D J C Racing Stables filly took a big step in her career, winning the Jessamine (GII) and stamping her ticket to DMR for BC Day. The margin was three-quarter’s of a length over The Card’s top pick, Mb’s Katy Bo… giving them the exacta (boxed… Max, told you… box all exactas) with another neck to Rinngins Racing’s post time favorite, Klassy Kat in third. It was another three-quarters of a length to Piatt in fourth. The final running time was a snappy 1:40.70, an ten lengths covered the field of eleven, over the firm turf.
