In the early going of the race Roxy Lisa took to the lead opening up a couple lengths on the field. Down the backstretch Powerful War, Drill and Aldonza made up the next pack with Silk House, Make It Known and City Bus at the back of the pack. Around the far turn Make It Known started making her move going wide around everyone. Down the stretch he continued to pick away at the field eventually making the lead and pulling away to a one length victory. City Bus tried following Make It Known but didn’t have the same kick and could only move up to third. The only one from the middle pack of horses that could make a bit of a move was Drill who jumped up late and got herself into second to cap off the 1-2 finish for Mb Stables. The rest of the field finished in a tightly packed group a length back of third.
