The punters got this spot on as this filly got home in determined fashion to land the odds. Tiring late on she held off the late challenge to win by a quarter length. In time I think this daughter of Plucky Mach may get further than this so I am impressed she is sprinting so effectively at this point in her career.
2nd Neometropolitan, trained by Barcelona Farms
Kept giving all the way to the line and proved that she is much better than her previous form suggests. This was a decent run and I expect her to fare even better over a mile.
3rd Done And Dusted, trained by Mb Stables
Ran on nicely from the trail but her style of running is always going to leave her susceptible to timing and she was caught out today and lost her unbeaten record. I wouldn’t write her off just yet though.
4th Ghostly Celt, trained by Mo Mentum Farm
Ran well enough considering her maiden status.
5th Bandits Beware, trained by Allinthegate
The difference between easy free track maiden wins and stakes races was as clear as the nose on your face here with a pretty non-descript performance.
