Three Year Olds Fillies

1st Na Pali, trained by Smokey Stover

Well there was no denying that this was the one that would most likely win and she proved it for sure. She sat in a nice stalking trip early on and then pounced on them and drew off late to win by a length. She ran the mile and a sixteenth distance in 1:39.86 and earned $120.000 for the win.

2nd Trippi Tip Toe, trained by Estero Farms

A pretty nice second fight here from this filly and she gave a good run at Na Pali but she just couldn’t get there. She sat midpack early on and came with a pretty decent run to at least make it into the second place spot. Not a bad run from this filly at all and she ran a good race to get second.

3rd Illustrious Cat, trained by Chili King Stables 

Not a bad run from this filly either as she closed from next to last to get up for third and she only got beat by two lengths. She was next to last early on and sat there until it was time to go and she did close pretty nicely for sure. Not a bad run at all from this filly and it was a respectable third.

4th Warmed Up, trained by Mb Stables 

And rounding out the superfecta right here is this filly and she ran an alright race. She sat right off of the lace early and just fell back little by little the farther they went but she still hung in there at least to get fourth and a little piece of the purse money.

Summary 

It was almost a fact that Na Pali was going to win this race to me and she showed just how much class she has. She won very easily and I’m sure that this was just a stepping stone for bigger and better things for later on in the season. Congratulations to Na Pali and Smokey Stover.
