Well the former claimed went ahead and got his first stakes win in this race right here. He stalked the leaders as he was only about a length off of the lead for most of the way until he pulled away late to win by a length. He ran the mile in 1:34.65 and earned $60.000 for the win.
2nd Skyscraper, trained by John Henry
Well this horse ran a whole lot better than his last out but he also changed up his tactics for this race and he came off of the pace in here. He closed nicely for second and he was only beaten by a length for the win so he was right there for sure. A good run from him.
3rd Ferocious Gaze, trained by Tiratzo
This runner here tried to win this race from the lead which he was kind of forced to do from that outside post. He broke quick and got to the lead and carved out the fractions for most of the way. He could not hold off the top two but he at least held on for a very good third.
4th Coles Creek, trained by Axeman
The final horse that hit the board did not run a bad race but he kind of faded late at the end. He sat right off of the lead earl on and then when the real running started he just could not keep up with the top three. He at least hit the board and took home a couple of dollars.
Summary
A big win for this runner as he got his first stakes win in this race. He was a claimer just a couple starts ago for a price tag of ten dollars and now he is a graded stakes win. He should improve off of this win also. Congratulations to Asset Allocation and Mb Stables.
