Three Year Olds Fillies Canada Breds

1st Blue Caviar, trained by Waldo

A huge win for this filly right here as she stamped herself as the top three year old Canadian bred filly. She ran a huge race after settling in about midpack early on and then she made a tough stretch run to get up by a nose for the win. She ran the race in 1:48.85 and earned $300.000 for the win.

2nd Kapalua, trained by Smokey Stover

Well just like last time this filly looked home free for a second but she got the victory nabbed away from her in the final strides. She ran gallantly down the stretch and she fought the winner off for as long as she could but she was just beaten by a nose. She ran a very good second.

3rd Camp Hollywood, trained by Estero Farms

Once again this filly just could not make up enough ground to get the win. She was next to last and about six lengths back early on. She came with a strong run down the lane like she always does but once again she could not just make up enough ground to get the win. She still ran good.

4th Innocent Approach, trained by Mb Stables

The outside post screwed this filly right here as she had to use up some of the gas tank to get to the lead from the outside. She did not necessarily set very fast fractions but it was a quick enough pace where she couldn’t hold them off. She still ran pretty good though.

Summary

A very big run from the winner here as she got up to win by a nose for her biggest win yet. She ran a huge race and proved that she is the best Canadian bred three year old filly at the moment. Congratulations to Blue Caviar and Waldo on their win in this race.
