This son of Cherokee Sunset has won hs maiden and allowance this year but in between has been out of the money in three graded stakes races. I liked his effort in the Pen Mile last time so there could be some improvement in him and i would give him a decent chance at this level.

2 Legends Of War D J C Racing Stables Alvarado J

Laid down a strong turf six furlong work last time but hasnt looked up to this grade on his form so far. The stable can get an extra length out of them when they step up though and you cant write him off coming from the perfect draw.

3 Crossing The Rubicon Team 7 Illusions Velazquez J
Another son of Cherokee Sunset he won his maiden nicely enough but hasnt looked competitive in his two starts at this level since. Playing second fiddle to his half brother here.

4 My Guy Second Chance Farms Castellano J

A gutsy winner of his last two starts he is proven at this trip and that may be an advantage in this race. He will need to step up but looks capable.

5 Crack Dab Gdp Inc Lezcano J

Beaten just a length in the BC Juvenile Sprint last year he has struggled in his three starts this year but on his last effort may just be getting back to his best. The draw wont help but i think he may be the pick in a difficult race.

SUMMARY

If Crack Dab can run a race from the wide draw he may win this. This is a tough race as none of these are outstanding but thats the nature of these statebreds and you just have to try and judge the horses on their efforts in this type of company.
