1st Cardi B, trained by Gdp Inc

A first graded stakes win for this filly with her win in here and it was about time. The difference that was made in here was that she sat off of the pace instead of being put on the lead. She ran a huge race and won by two lengths. She ran the distance in 1:41.57 and earned $180.000 for the win.

2nd More Sport, trained by Aml Racing

A very good runner up finish from this filly right here as she tried to take this field wire to wire and she actually did pretty good trying to do that. She didn’t get the easiest lead but she was in front most of the way. She ran pretty well to hold on for second.

3rd Outside Shot, trained by D J C Racing Stables

Well this filly closed from last to get up for third but it was a tough task to try and close into the pace that was set and with a small field like this. She closed just as good as she could and she at least got up for third so she got a nice little amount of change for it.

4th Pennies, trained by Arindel

Well for her first start in any sort of stakes company I think that this filly ran a pretty good race for it. She sat right behind the leader early on and was in a nice stalking position but she was just a hair outclassed in here. She still ran a pretty decent fourth though.

Summary

Well it was an impressive win for Cardi B as she romped away by two lengths to earn her first ever graded stakes win in this race. She won pretty easily which was a little bit surprising as I wasn’t sure if she was good enough. Congratulations to Cardi B and Gdp Inc.
