At HRP at the moment with all the things that can go against a horse winning it is very rare to find a horse unbeaten after six starts. That makes this horse very special or very lucky!
Brought along admirably by the breeder coming from a free maiden race and through statebreds she has always looked very good but today faced her biggest test and overcame it by digging deep and refusing to lose. One of the traits that separates fast horses from good ones is the hidden class gene and the hidden desire gene and this filly seems to have both in abundance. One things is for sure with the three year old allowance on her side it will be very tough beating her and she could be the first horse to ever go through a season without losing at HRP.

2nd Pink Kitten Threshold Husbands P

Stalked the lead but was hung out a little wide for the bend, as it turned out that wasnt a bad place to be and when she got her nose in front with a furlong to run it looked like she may just extend her winning run to four. In the end it took a very good and very determined filly to beat her but when you consider how much more ground she covered than the winner this rates a very good performance.

3rd Kaizoku Mb Stables Hernandez R M

Got back off a fast pace and it looked like she may come home late and push the winner but in the end though she continued to make ground she couldnt get to the first two. Considering she has spent most of her career in routes this was a good sprinting performance.

4th Levi Sneaky Estero Farms Garcia Alan

I was pretty surprised this one was the morning line favourite as she was drawn wide and in the end it was the usual story for a wide drawn horse that is taken to the back and crosses to the rail. If they are going to win they tend to stay out wide so even though this one ran on really well it was obvious after a furlong that she wasnt going to win. Mark my words though this was a decent effort in a speed loaded race and if she gets a better draw next time she will be much closer.
