1st Immoral Mb Stables Saez G

It was a great day for the owner again today and lets face it a bad day is being second in a grade one so its a bit relative really. This gelding made it three in a row after the AI read the fast pace perfectly and managed to place this horse on the best pace throughout to fire through at the end for a half length win. I guess when its a good day its a good day here at HRP and even an iffy midpack draw couldnt stop this son of No Doubt About It today. I am sure we will see him as one of about ten from the stable that will be winning points for the KYD early next year.

2nd Notorious Temper Night Rider Stables Fuentes Ru

Another great example of how good instructions or a bit of race engine luck can change a horses fortunes here as this one made the running in the Grey Stakes last time from a wide draw but this time went to plan B and was taken back. Flying home he was making ground like Pegasus but couldnt get there in the end. He may turn out as the stables main KYD hope going forward.

3rd Angelsinheaven Angelos Stable Eramia R E

Plugged away for third pretty much holding his place throughout this race. This run was difficult to assess as he was chasing a swift pace and i am sure if he had been written with more restraint he would’ve finished better.

4th Orion Nebula John Henry Lanerie C J

This was sort of the reverse from Notorious Temper as this horse came from behind from a wide draw to just miss in the BC Juvenile and yet today from a wide draw was put in the lead at a fast pace. I suspect this was wide draw race engine shenanigans rather than anything John Henry did so we will have to wait until next year to see just how good he turns out.
