1st Flying warrior, trained by Axeman

Always close up in the stalk off a pretty average pace he was always going to be tough to beat by the closers. He had plenty in hand in winning only his third career race but showed us again the upside down world of HRP by failing in an overnight last time out. Clearly an improver only time will tell if he can back up this good performance.

2nd Steel Fox, trained by Marcus White

Tracked the winner but was always safely held in the run to the line.

3rd Nuns Warrior, trained by Canadian Racing

Could never close on the winner after sitting back off an average pace.

4th Foggy Shores, trained by Mb Stables

Made the early running but paid the price and faded badly in the stretch.

5th Dawn Ride

Suffered from the sluggish pace and was never able to close.

6th Dancing Boy

Another who suffered from a poor jokey decision never making ground from the rear.
