1 Socrates ( Mb Stables) Jockey- Jaramillo E KYD Pts.- 0 While the trainer has two other runners in the top ten, has added this bay colt after back to back wins at the Allowance company level. Is out of his top sire and the rail will definitely help, but is making a bold step here. Outsider.
2 Midnight Special ( Allinthegate ) Jockey- Smith M E KYD Pts.- 0 After breaking his maiden then capturing an Allowance event, tried to tackle some top Graded events with back to back eighth place finishes. His most recent Hope Stakes he made some late closing kick to come within two lengths. The added furlong may make for a better placing. Will need his best efforts.
3 Grease ( Oquinn Farm ) Jockey- Franco M KYD Pts. -0 First this gray gelding is not TC nominated, and closed out last season with a twelveth place finish in the Gr. I Champagne some eight lengths out. While he has opened this year with an Allowance company victory, he could be in tough with this group. Not looking like a great choice here. Maybe trainer knows better.
4 Grandstand Jockey ( Night Rider Stables ) Jockey- Castellano J J KYD Pts- 0 Is coming to this event off a victory in the Gr. III Swale Stakes on the first of February, and now looks to move his progression along with a stellar effort here. Has yet to go a mile or longer, but should enjoy the extra distance. Look for this one to find a share in the top three.
5 Sars ( Aer Stables ) Jockey- Alvarado J KYD Pts.- 14 Third of three this trainer has in the top ten in KYD points, and is hoping this race can earn him a victory and a better placing in the top three in points. Has been a regular at this oval with two wins and a runner-up effort against Graded company and should draw top honors for this event. Top Contender.
6 Finite ( Dynark Stables ) Jockey Court J K KYD Pts.-10 Had only two starts as a juvenile, both at a mile and both on the turf with one being his maiden victory. Opened this season with his second victory after making the switch to the dirt, taking home the Gr. III Davis. Earned a 94 SRF for that victory and that should place him well in this company. Place in your exotics.
7 Mexican Swagger ( John Henry ) Jockey Lanerie C J KYD Pts.-1 Purchased away from Aer Stables at the opening of February, after two fringe efforts in his most recent Graded company events. Prior to that he went four straight trips to the winners circle in New Mexican restricted events. New interests had a bullet work on the 24th at SA for six panels and that might point to trainer having found an answer ?
8 Genghis ( Arindel ) Jockey Prat F KYD Pts. -0 Has started on a tear this season with a opener winner in the Rego Park here at this oval, then won the Gr. II San Vincente Stakes at SA on the 7th of February. Prat was aboard for that last victory and now he returns to try for win number three of the year. Has three victories in his past four starts, and that deserves merit for this affair.
9 Lawn Party ( Rampage Stable ) Jockey Rosario J KYD Pts.- 0 It has been since late June when this black colt earned his last victory. That was his only win in five juvenile starts, and his opener this season in the $125 Pasco Stakes he took a mid pack attack to that event, closing to within a length of the winner in third. Will need his best to make a top three finishes here.
10 Lock Away The Key ( Fractious ) Jockey Cancel E KYD Pts.- 0 Cancel came aboard this bay gelding in his seasonal opener for the $100 Winkfield, and the jockey brought home a victory in that seven furlong distance event at this oval. Stays put here in New York and the added furlong should help him with his late effort to get to the line. Has Possibilities.

12 Aggravated Sky ( Estero Farms ) Jockey David D KYD Pts.-0 Last victory came back in September when he captured the restricted $150 Bongard. His past two Graded company affairs saw him finish out of any purse money, but he just missed by a neck going a mile over this oval in the Sleepy Hollow, so hopefully this three year has a feel for this surface.
13 Tyrian ( Mo Mentum Farm ) Jockey Espinoza V KYD Pts.- 0 Slips in off the also eligible list with the scratch and comes to this event with just three career starts, but all have been top three efforts. Broke his maiden in his season opener, then placed third last time out in the Gr. III Swale closing to within a length of another runner entered here. Can get on top early , but that style at this distance will leave him gasping down the stretch. Will make it interesting.
