This race had a similar look to it than most with the leader weakening out to finish last and the stalker off a slow pace going on to win. This filly certainly seems to be suited by being on pace off a slow pace and she got exactly what she wanted today. A daughter of Commanding her stud value will have been boosted by this graded win but there is plenty more racing to come for her.

2nd Southern Two Step The Sidley Stud Geroux F

The stable got a real favor from the draw with both their runners and not surprisingly both of them placed with this one coming out better than the stable mate. A real consistent sort she ran on well but could’ve done with more pace in the race.

3rd Neds Assets The Sidley Stud Graham J

Kept on well enough for third.

4th Dab Ney BomBay Stables Doyle S

Not good enough but ran her best race for a fair fourth
