$250.000 2yo Foaled in NY 1m Dirt |
Looked good while just missing at BEL in his most recent, and that was his first swing at Stakes company. He was closing well, looks like the added distance here will play into his hand, and you always have to watch The King. Give this one a big chance.
Won big at LAD knocking out MSW horses by seven, and that was at a mile and 70yds. Was working at KEE so it looked like they were aiming at non-state-bred horses, maybe… and you have to think he’s a nice horse the way he won going two turns for the first time. He could be any type.
He’s won two in a row breaking maiden then winning an ALW race v. NY horses in his most recent. That was his first go at two turns and h certainly didn’t disappoint, drawing away down the lane to win by two. He looks like a nice type and come from a sharp outfit.
He’s been up the track in his last two, but that was two salty groups in the Iroquois (GIII) at CD and the Grey Stakes (GIII) at WO. I don’t like the fact that he tired badly in those races, but then again, it was very very tough company.
Stayed undefeated as he ran away from NY Alw horses at FL in his second lifetime start. Kicked a bunch of maidens at MNR prior to that – so will he like going the extra distance or is he a sprinter? We find out today…
