The best horses in this race are the older horses but they have both drawn wide and they have the weight allowance to cope with making this a race that once again could go to any of the runners. Here is how they line up.

1 Anna D Night Mare Racing McCarthy T

She has run three of her four starts at the free track but did win a little allowance at LAD in between so whilst that doesn’t look like the sort of form that can take on the pay stakes winners in this race her works are right on the money so who knows. She was pretty game in winning the PEN Oaks from a wide draw last time so deserves this hot at the big time and she gets a decent draw to do her best.

2 Too Scared To Party Martyparty Court J K

Won the Sweetest Chant at the start of the year and has since been placed at grade two level in both the Appalachian and the Nassau. She has looked like she is crying out for this sort of trip so from the perfect draw i think she has a winning chance.
3 Unsuspecting Mb Stables Davis D

Despite never having won a race on turf her turf works are the same as everything else so there is no reason she can’t run well here. Fourth from a tough draw in the WO Oaks last time she may need to be pulled back and run with cover for her best chance of winning.

4 Grand Dragonville Smokey Stover Centeno D

A grade one winning four year old i wouldn’t hesitate to pick her if this were a real life race but there are a few negatives here and she will have to overcome them to win. She loves a longer trip and took the Santa Ana Stakes in March so has all the right form and her 1.34 and 2 work last time suggested she is back to her best.

5 Lady Cowgirl TwinTowersRacing Bridgmohan S X

This five year old is a real tough old nut and despite not having the best win record can certainly live with these fillies. She was beaten by the race engine last time but had run a super race in the Sheepshead Bay before that so write her off at your peril.

SUMMARY

Grand Dragonville is the best horse in this race but she will have to have things go right for her to best the three’s especially Too Scared To Party.
