In a race where 2 lengths or a half second covered all eleven runners it is amazing that one stable still managed to end up with first and second place finishers. Mb Stables certainly seems to be on fire at the moment racking up win after win, lets see how the undisputed Sheik of HRP managed to dominate another stakes race.

1st Take Pride Princess Mb Stables Hernandez R M

This one had come up short in two previous stakes races but today found a way through the wall of horses at the finish to record a neck win. Bred by Patterson Stables she was bought for $40 pre race and started her year nice and early back in April with a debut win. She clearly appreciated this step up in trip and it will probably be her next race that tells us how good she is and how far she wants to go.

2nd = Naughty Or Nice Mb Stables Court J K

Franked her impressive maiden win on this track with a strong second here, another bought rather than bred by Mb Stables she was taken from John Henry’s breeding operation for just ten dollars.

2nd = Z Donut Arindel Bridgmohan S X

Overcame a tough draw here to run a great second after disappointing last time out at Allowance level. Not the fastest of workers she certainly looks like she has ability when things go her way. If the draw monster is kinder to her in future i can see her winning a good race.

4th Torrents Of Spring Wood Duck Stables Castellano J J

Made the running with her stable mate and kept on well enough to hold fourth at the end.
