The stable has been firing on all cylinders and that’s how it can tend to go at HRP, little runs of luck where everything wins. There was nothing lucky about this filly today though other than she was one of the ones that got a good start. Breaking fast she settled close to the very sedate pace and then ran on doggedly down the stretch for a share of the win. The winner of the grade one Spinaway last year she saw out todays trip well although the slow pace would’ve helped and now looks to the KYO.

Stalked the lead throughout and it was such a slow pace it was always going to suit those close to it and that got a good enough start. This was a much improved effort but that’s what can happen when you live in this stable and now she has runs to her works i expect much more from her.

3rd Exultant Gal TwinTowersRacing Sanchez M J

This stable really does know how to run in these big races because they come up time and again with these long priced places. On the pace as required she kept on really well but just couldn’t get the measure of the first two.

4th Steppin Out Mb Stables Lopez P

The maiden tried hard and must be one of the best maidens in the country now, she was taken back after a decent start which may have ruined her chances as the slow pace made it hard to make ground back up.
