Ran the stalk and kept on too strongly for her rivals winning by a half length. She has certainly taken to the turf nicely, whether that is the change of surfaces or just general improvement we don’t really know but she has been consistent at lower levels and that consistency paid off today. At only 15.2hh there may be more improvement to come and is yet another graded stakes winner that Jive Inc has sold to Mb Stables.

2nd Savage War Queen Whitewater Stables Garcia Mar

Started slowly and went back a bit like the old days of the wide draw, she closed off strongly though getting to within a half length and making up three times that in the last furlong. This was a good run but one feels she would be more successful on this new race engine by staying closer to the pace.

3rd Dream Scheme Jive Inc. Gaffalione T

Another that started slowly and stormed home late she was making up even more ground than the runner up but just ran out of track. For a horse that has run well from on the pace in its last two the extreme change in tactics probably wasn’t exactly what the stable had hoped for and she is another that will benefit by finding cover closer to the pace.

4th Milk And Honey Hunterman Stable Hernandez B J Jr

Guess what, yes another that was storming home from the back but was beaten by the stalker, she was finishing off just like the two fillies in front of her but is also one that has won her races from closer to the pace in the past. The strong early pace certainly lent itself to closer’s but i would imagine these three were never meant to be so far off the pace early on.
