Tired in the Magic City at FG last out, but that was at a mile and I don’t think that’s what he likes. Won at the distance up at the Spa last season, so he has shown some ability, but this is tougher than NX1Y and he will need his best to be in the running here. I think the barn would be happy with a minor share.
Proved to be a nice claim, being taken for $12.500 in Oct then coming back with a second and a win under the new management. Both of those races were on the main track at FG, which was a switch from the grass starts he had been making. He may be a bit out-classed here today, but I think he will make a good showing for himself.
Closed out ’15 with a nice win in the CC Express where he closed late to get the job done by a neck. That was his sixth win for the season and he certainly seems to be in great form right now. He has a three race win streak coming into this one and seems to be the one to beat. Give him a big look.
Won four of his last five starts to close out the 2015 season with his only loss coming v. GI company at SAR. I like that he’s won at a mile so the distance shouldn’t be a factor, yet he has shown some real tactical speed with an ability to come off of the pace. The barn is hot so…
Another that’s won four of his last five although three of those came v. PA bred types. He had a solid 2015 season and certain has the speed to be a big factor in this one. I certainly wouldn’t leave him off of my trifecta tickets, that’s for sure.
Six wins from fourteen starts in ’15 so this one is no stranger to the starting gate. Won a stakes at PM in his most recent, and did it in pretty quick time. That was his first start on the dirt in quite a while so maybe this is a good spot for him. He has shown some class and could pull the upset.
Solid year in ’15 for this one as he won five of twelve starts and was solid at this distance while running primarily on the NY circuit. He could be over-looked in this one and may get away at odds that just make him a good value bet. He is as solid as a rock.
Two wins from seven starts last season for this one, but he hasn’t seen the winner’s circle since April. He was third in the Hudson facing NY bred horses at BEL back in Oct, which was his final race of the year. Perhaps the freshening will get him back where he belongs.
