Horse and trainer have certainly embraced this new leader driven race engine as this filly that was clearly the form choice in the race went to the front for the first time in her 14 race career and cantered home like a BC winner. Controlling the pace beautifully she was never really challenged and went under the wire 3 lengths clear. This was a fourth career win and she didn’t seem to mind the off track which will stand her in good stead going forward.

2nd           Juilliard         Mo Mentum Farm           Stein J

The market was more confident in this one that i was but she showed much improved form to chase the winner home in good style. She is clearly improving but we wont know how much until her next run.

3rd       Paris Candy          Glorify Stables        Pennington F

There was a definite split between those who were in the could be anything bracket and those that had shown they could cope with this grade and this was the first home of the aforementioned group. This wasn’t a bad effort but she was beaten a long way and may prefer turf or at least a drier track.

4th       Mercantile Mo         Mentum Farm          Jaramillo E

She didn’t really do much apart from a bit of social distancing during this race plodding on for the last paying place.
