The Fritchie Stakes (GII) |
$300.000 4yo&Up F&M 7f Dirt |
Only a single win from her ten seasonal starts in ’15, but she still stuffed over $500.000 in the bank with a majority of that coming in her first start, winning the Las Virgenes (GI) at SA. Can she repeat and make her first stat of ’16 a winning one? It’s going to take one heck of an effort to beat this bunch. I’ll look at some others first.
If not for that sixth place finish in the BC F&M Sprint (GI), she’s have one heck of a win streak going. Four of her last five starts have been Kodak Moments, and she’s been on the board in every start since being purchased, sans the BC Day start. The barn is hot and I think you have to give her a big shot here today.
Finally lost a race since being nabbed from the June ’15 Auction for $35.000. Four wins and a near miss second, which was her first start of the ’16 season. She certainly has speed and ability… and the extra bit of distance may be exactly what she’s looking for. I would not ignore her.
Stand back folks… this horse can fly. She’s won three in a row including the ’15 BC F&M Sprint (GI) , then closed out the year with a win in the La Brea (GI) at SA. Yeah, she’s the real deal and you may have to plunk your money down on the chalk in this one… to the point that Mb scratched and said “no thanks”.
Does this girl ever miss a check? On the board in 8 of 9 last season, then kicked of the ’16 year with a nice win on SSM Day down at GP. She’s never been off of the board at today’s 7f distance, and although she may have some odds to her today, I look for her to be right in the thick of it. Upset? probably not, but another solid effort for sure.
