NY Bred Fillies Go for Black Type in The Key Cents

NY-bred 2yo fillies will be the flavor as we look at the field for The Key Cents, going six furlongs on the main track here at AQU.  Atomic Litta hasn’t lost yet, so there’s no reason to go against her in this one.  It’s her first time vs. stakes company but she’s done everything right to this point and I’ll look for her to stay perfect.  Let’s go down to the rail and put Grand General in the mix.  She’s run one-two in six of seven starts and looked good winning vs similar at FL.  You know me and baby races, so ignore me and do what you feel is right.

She just never seems to run a bad race, winning three and adding in three runner-up finishes from seven starts.  Changed hands via hostile takeover three races back for $7.500 and has proven to be a sharp tag running second at the Alw level then beating NY-bred stakes horses at FL.  No reason to think she won’t be right in the middle of this one, as well.

Got the job done last out at PID, taking maiden claimers by three and she switched barns in the process.  They go right after it, taking on stakes company… does she bring it to them today?  Just missed in her other start, so she’s been consistent, that’s for sure.

Two starts, two pictures… you can’t beat that.  Took down maidens at CT in her debut then came back to spank Alw types at MTH on the grass, so it’s time to climb the ladder and see if she keeps at it.  She was dismissed with odds in both of those starts and I doubt you get those today.

Got the job done in her second start taking down MSW types at MTH, getting home in quick time.  This is only her third start but it’s a sharp outfit and they usually know where to place a horse.  Giver this one a look and I certainly wouldn’t leave her off of the exotic tickets.

it’s been a bit of a roller coaster ride for this one… she broke maiden then came back to miss a nose in the FT Debutante at SA, then a couple of up-the-track finishes vs NY-bred stakes company.  She’s turned it back around of late with a third at FL vs NY-bed stakes horses then just missed in the Myrtlewood at KEE in her most recent.  Her best is tough

Broke maiden at second asking, taking down MSW types at FL, then ran a good one in her most recent, taking the third spot in the fore-mentioned Myrtlewood at KEE.  Can she flip the script on the five horse and get a bit more of the pie today?
