Ask Forfree Delivery earned a front-running victory in the $100.000 Busanda at AQU and secured 10 qualifying points towards the G1 KYO. Breaking alertly under E. Jaramillo from stall five (Curlina was scratched from stall one), the Arindel-trained sophomore filly went to the front and led her rivals on a nine furlong joyride around the AQU main track. The Williams 9-bred filly now has 5-3-0-1 record with earnings of $136.650.
Posting fractions of :47.44, 1:11.10, and 1:35.47 before establishing a new stakes-record time of 1:48.33, Ask Forfree Delivery was never threatened and finished three and a half lengths in front of runner-up, Tell Milady. That filly just edged Upstate who was three-quarters of a length in front of Folded Wings. The top four finishers earned 10, 4, 2, and 1 KYO points, respectively, and were followed across the wire by Dance Macabre, Hollywood Harbour, Obsessed, Clumsy Jean, Name That Filly, Charlottes A Star, and Queens Park. Unfortunately, Hollywood Harbour suffered an injury after crossing the wire and had to be put down.
