Loihi broke alertly, pressed the pace from the rail, took the lead nearing the sixteenth marker, won driving. Proud Eights sent from the gate, set the pace from the 2p, headed at the sixteenth pole, continued on well to the wire. Classic Princess rated back to mid-pack, no excuse. Folsom Tradition trailed, never a threat. Lost Goddess was not a factor.
