Di Canzoni, in the colors of Ace Racing Stable, made a winning stakes-debut as she wore down El Gran Condottieri in the final yards of the $150.000 Dancing Renee at BEL.  The 6f sprint for older NY-bred fillies and mares was completed in 1:09.43.

Di Canzoni broke with the 2nd flight and raced in the two-path as El Gran Condottieri set solid fractions of :22.97 and :45.78.  The eventual winner looked to be caught off-guard when Wow moved for the leader from her outside, but Di Canzoni was produced and gradually wore down the longtime front runner in the final strides to post a head-victory.  Wow was a clear third as Durr and Tunted completed the order of finish.  The winner has earned $181.090 with her 15-6-3-2 record and has now posted two wins from five starts since being claimed by Ace Racing Stable back in February.
