1st Announcement, trained by Mb Stables
I actually thought his stable companion would have the edge in this but i was proved
completely wrong and this improving five year old proved far too strong in the end. Running
a close stalk from the off he loved every inch of this trip and held the advantage right
down the stretch. It will be interesting to see how he does as he moves through the grades
over these marathon type trips.

2nd Chonburi, trained by Emerald Racing Inc
Trailed the field but ran on very strongly in the end to run a close second. This was a decent
effort and he may be getting slowly back to his best.

3rd Taylors Eagle, trained by Harrell Racing
Catapulted forward to lead from the wide gate he kept on prety well for third only beaten a length.
Clearly this trip suits him and he looks a lot better than the $1 his popular trainer bought him for,
4th Phelps, trained by Mb Stables
He struggled again today and though we are used to his inconsistency i am beginning to wonder whether
we have seen the best of him and he is declining.

5th War On War
Never really got in the race.
