1 Aurora Sails, trained by Ollies
A winner of 7 from 18 this filly has changed hands a lot recently but has always been highly
thought of and has raced well for her range of different owners. A tough consistent sprinter
she has plenty of black type form to her name and looked pretty good when winning the Captiva
Island last time out. This is probably her best trip and with no penalty and an inside gate
you have to like her chances.

2 Light Up The Sky, trained by Deja Vu Farm
Plenty of improvement here with three of her four lifetime wins cvoming in her last 6 races.
She is working better than ever and won an overnight in a fast time last time out so she is
in good form and looking for a big run.

3 The Square, trained by Chili King Stables
Claimed last time out she is another who has hit form and she is looking to step up in grade
today. A good sort who has run well on multiple surafces and over different trips i like her
a lot but not for this race today.

4 Laffin All The Way, trained by Night Rider Stables
With a record of 9 from 14 and her last three wins coming in this grade this looks like a race
that is begging to be added to her impressive record. Only beaten once in her last six and that
was when she was tried on dirt she looks a very good bet in this race.

5 Condottieris Fox, trained by Hawaiian Shirt Guy
Beautifully bred with Grade one winning form, the only mystery today is this sprint trip. The
winner of last years QE II Challenge Cup over a mile and an eighth it would be quite an
achievement if she could take this. Having said that she has plenty of sprint form and is working well
so this is certainly not out of her scope.

6 Jawbone, trained by Chili king Stables
Another grade one winning router taking on a sprint trip this race is nothing of not interesting. She beat
Condottieris Fox when taking the Matriarch last november but the alarms bells started ringing for her when
she ran a poor race in The Very One last time which may have prompted this return to sprinting. There is no
doubt she has the class to win this but like the horse inside her it will all come down to whether she has
the speed.

7 Grr8 One, trained by Duell Hollow Stables
This seems a prety hopeful entry and if she has finished the home turn when the others are passing the winning
post it will be a victory for her.

8 Black Iron, trained by Brave
Another consistent sprinter in this grade she has six wins from thirteen inclusing the Lightening City Stakes.
There is no doubt she is fast but with an awkward gate i wonder whether she might seek the front and struggle
late.

9 Viva Steel, trained by Lemax Farms
This daughter of Pure Steel rounds out the field and she is another cnsistent sprinter at this level. This gate
will be tough but as long as she can negate the speed push and get back early i am sure she will be closing hard
down the stretch.

SUMMARY
A very interesting race with two grade one winning routers taking on established sprinters at this level. I think
Laffin All the Way will be too strong for these and give her the win.
