The Smokey bandwagon rolls on as this lightly raced and improving three year old took this race out with a smooth win. Backing up her win the the Black Eyed Susan she is building a great record and adds yet another string to the bow of the Smokey dynasty.

2nd Bella Chica Mb Stables Saez L

A decent enough run but never looked like catching the winner and sort of sums up the season Mb Stables is having.

3rd = Low Budget Java Nakamura Stables Luzzi L J

Started slowly and did really well with the new ‘slower closing’ race engine to end up third. She looks best as a closer after the trainer tried her up on the pace and that running style is always a bit of a gamble these days. An eye catching effort though and she will be winning more good races.

3rd = Paris Broadway Arindel Velazquez J R

Stayed on well for a share of third but just seems to have lost her zip in recent runs after a big start to the season. That is how the improvement curve works here at HRP though some improve gradually some go up and down quickly and some sit at a level for a while before moving one way or the other. This one is the latter it seems.
