With the scratch of Dragon Authority, only three entries will go to the gate in the NYSS – Calloway. The overwhelming favorite, Quiet Hero (Mb Stables) starts from the inside post and just might wire the field. But Lennon (Arindel) may have something to say about that. He likes to be on or near the lead, so we could see an early contest for the pace. Hunt For Red October (also Arindel) might be the longest shot on the board, but I wouldn’t count him out. Broke his maiden in a high-level maiden special weight three starts back and has been working well up to this race.

In the end, it is likely to be Quiet Hero at the wire first, but this is horseracing, and anything can happen.
