4 GP The FL Sire Stakes – In Reality
$400.000 2yo 1 1/16m Dirt 118lbs
Velocicoaster stays perfect under the tutelage of Mo Mentun Farm, as the gelding forced the early fractions, moved up to take over into the home stretch then held off the late charge of Tempest, taking the victory in Saturday’s The FL Sire Stakes – In Reality by three quarters of a length. The final running time was 1:423 for the mile and a sixteenth distance, over the GP oval, listed as Fast. Tempest tired to split horses late but just couldn’t get to the winner, taking the place by a head over Con Of The Kiwi, who did all of the heavy lifting in this one. Seal Of Approval was two length back in fourth. Five lengths covered the field in this one.
Velocicoaster is a 2yo bay gelding by Canading – Unprecedented, by Dial It In, and he was bred in Fla by South Beach Racing. Acquired by Mo Mentum Farm via private purchase for $100.000, and he’s now a perfect 2-for-2 for the new owner. He shows three wins, a second and two thirds from his six starts, and now has earnings of $379.360. Congrats to the Connections!

Velocicoaster forced the pace to the top of the lane, fanned 4p for the drive, taking over at the top of the lane, all out to hold off foe. Tempest stalked the pace 2p, split horses late, up for the place. Con Of The Kiwi set a pressured pace to the top of the lane, out-kicked. Seal Of Approval forced the pace 3p, lost ground into the far turn, moved widest for the drive, evenly late. Web Gem evenly while no threat. Money Printer Go Brr well back throughout. Commissioner was outrun.
