1st  Adrift At Sea  Threshold  Crawford J

Things went perfectly for this filly as she broke behind the two leaders and tracked them throughout before easily passing them and running home unchallenged. This is one of those fillies that can look pretty impressive at lower grade but doesn’t quite have the X factor for a higher level but as she moves into her fifth year next year she may find her improvement curve moving in the right direction at last.

2nd  Confederate Warrior  Paradise Stable  Husbands P

Once again the three year old went to the front and set a decent but not mad pace. Just like her previous races through the stretch was too much for her and she was easily out stayed, keeping on for second. At only 15.2hh she is still a bit weak at the end of her races and she may end up being one of those late maturing types.

3rd  Juilliard  Mo Mentum Farm  Wilson E J

I think if this race was over six furlongs this filly may have won even with the penalty but her stamina gave out a long way from home and the extra weight didn’t help either.

4th  Purely Awesome  Night Rider Stables  Carroll D

Last from the gate and a distant last at the line this was a no show from the four year old.
