1st: #7 Have Phun (Gdp Inc/J.J. Castellano 124): Broke 4-wide in quartet of runners at the back of the field, but was able to slide in a lane after a furlong.  Moved near the five-path rounding the bend as she began to make headway.  Still had work to do from the center of the course inside the eighth-pole.  Explosive turn-of-foot late to get by and draw off for the clear one-length victory.

2nd: #3 Well Done Charley (Night Rider Stables/I. Ortiz Jr 124): Aggressively-ridden to set the early pace.  Left alone while setting solid fractions through the turn.  Was still clear a furlong out and, while she could not hold off the winner, continued-on to be a clear second-best.

3rd: #5 Jigokudani (Invicta Group Llc/J. Alvarado 124): Raced between runners toward the tail of the field early.  Content to hold her position into the turn.  Waited for a seam and rallied a bit, but could not reach the top pair.

The winning time of 1:21.35 is just off the stake’s record.  With his first black-type victory, Have Phun improves to 24-6-6-3 and ups his bankroll to $349.710.  Congratulations to Have Phun and Gdp Inc on their victory in the NYSS Thunder Rumble!
