The placing/replay judges earned their pay in this one… The May was anyone’s race to win in my eye, but Jerry Garcia Racing‘s Librarian took the flat mile stakes by a neck in a final time of 1:353 over the Fast AQU main track. Speed is the name of her game, and she made every call a winning one for the second consecutive race. But I Digress, owned by YME Stable, was closing the gap with every stride but ran out of racetrack, settling for the second spot. It was another length to a three-way photo, where Night Rider Stables’ Feva John Crow nosed out Atomic Woman and Tall Southern Lady for third… those two ending in a dead- heat for the minor money. Five lengths covered the field.
